Quick Details
Dolphin Cove offers a unique experience where you can interact closely with these unique creatures in their natural environment.
-
There are three main dolphin interaction experiences:
- Dolphin Encounter
This is perfect for families with young children or people who want to observe dolphins up close without fully entering deep water. You stand in knee-high water and interact with the dolphin by touching, hugging, and handshaking.
- Dolphin Swim Adventure
This activity is suitable for older children and adults who are comfortable swimming and want a more dynamic interaction with the dolphins. You get to swim with the dolphin in deeper water and enjoy activities like the belly ride where the dolphin swims backward while you hold onto its fins, handshaking, hugging, and even receiving a kiss.
- Dolphin Royal Swim
This activity is designed for adventure seekers and provides the highest level of interaction with two dolphins. Participants experience the famous foot push where two dolphins lift you out of the water by pushing your feet, and the dorsal pull where you hold onto the dolphins’ dorsal fins as they swim at high speeds through the water. Activities also include handshaking, hugging, and even receiving a kiss.
Dolphin Cove prides itself on promoting animal conservation and education. Guests learn about marine life, the importance of protecting the ocean, and how dolphins are cared for sustainably and ethically. This educational aspect adds depth to the tour, allowing you to not only enjoy a fun experience but also to leave with a greater understanding of marine conservation efforts.
Dolphin Cove also offers a wide range of activities that highlight the natural beauty and wildlife of Jamaica. You can explore the lush tropical rainforest, where you can see exotic birds, iguanas, and other wildlife. The tour also offers the chance to snorkel with stingrays, kayak in the Caribbean Sea, take glass-bottomed boat rides, or relax on a private beach, making it a versatile experience suitable for different interests.
